Victoria Mora

Victoria is originally from El Paso, Texas and holds a J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to law school, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin. Victoria joins KIND after spending four years as an Associate Attorney at Ilagan and Associates, P.C. where she devoted her law practice exclusively to immigration and nationality law matters, including family and employment-based visas, adjustment of status to permanent resident, removal proceedings, citizenship, and naturalization. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and Houston Young Lawyers Association. While in law school, Victoria participated in the Immigration Clinic and Criminal Justice Clinic where she gained valuable experience representing clients in immigration and criminal proceedings. She was the recipient of the St. Mary's University Francisco Leos Award for Excellence in Clinical Studies for her work in the Immigration Clinic. Victoria was also awarded the St. Mary's University Hispanic Law Alumni Association Henry B. Gonzalez Scholarship for her proven commitment to serving the needs of the Hispanic community, as well as the St. Mary's University School of Law Pro Bono Achievement Award. Victoria also spent time as an intern with the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas Office of the Federal Public Defender in Brownsville, Texas.
