There is no doubting Paul Hastings attorney Brian Moran's commitment to pro bono services. Not only was Brian, pictured right, recently named Pro Bono Coordinator of the Year by his firm, but he also arranged for his band to play a benefit concert on behalf of KIND at the legendary Kenny's Castaways in Greenwich Village in New York City. The band, Being Don and Nothingness, which Brian describes as "African and Latin-influenced ska/reggae with existentialist lyrics" played to an enthusiastic crowd, which included partners, associates, paralegals and other Paul Hastings staff; proceeds from the concert were donated to KIND.
"We had a fantastic time playing, especially knowing that we were all there to support KIND, which was the main reason so many people from the firm came," Moran said. "Over 50 of our attorneys and paralegals are very committed to our KIND clients, and people were really happy to come out and help the organization."
