Niños en Necesidad de Defensa (siglas en Inglés KIND) ayuda a proveer asistencia legal compe-tente y compasionada a niños refugiados y/o in-migrantes que vienen a los Estados Unidos sin sus padres o sin guardia-nes legales. KIND fue fundada por la Corpora-ción Microsoft y la humanitaria actriz Angelina Jolie para me-jorar la forma en que los Estados Unidos trata a estos niños.

Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) helps provide competent and compassionate legal counsel to refugee and immigrant children who come to the United States with-out a parent or legal guardian. KIND was founded by the Micro-soft Corporation and ac-tress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie to change the way the United States treats these children.

Are you a young person on your own and need help with an immigration case?

Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) can help. KIND will help you find a free lawyer to work on your immigration case if you came to the United States on your own or if you live here without your parents or someone else to help you. KIND finds lawyers who have been trained to help kids in immigration cases. These lawyers volunteer their time so you don’t have to pay anything.

Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) se ha unido con el Global Fund for Children (GFC) para lanzar el Proyecto de Retorno y Reintegración de Niños Guatemaltecos (GCRRP), en una de las primeras iniciativas para ayudar a niños una vez que salen de los Estados Unidos con su retorno y reintegración a su país de origen.

Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) has partnered with The Global Fund for Children (GFC) to launch the Guatemalan Child Return & Reintegration Project (GCRRP), one of the first initiatives to help children once they leave the United States with their return and reintegration to their country of origin.
