Laura Nally

Prior to joining KIND, Laura worked as a VAWA staff attorney at Catholic Charities of Baltimore, where she represented victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in U visa applications and VAWA self-petitions, as well as general immigration cases, including family-based petitions, adjustment, and naturalization applications.
Previously, Laura completed a fellowship at Howrey LLP, where she worked exclusively on pro bono legal matters, including SIJS, VAWA, and asylum cases. During law school, Laura interned at the Capital Area Immigrant Rights (CAIR) Coalition, Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, and the American Bar Association's Commission on Immigration and was an editor of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal.
After graduation, she completed a fellowship at the American Immigration Council's Legal Action Center, supporting impact litigation in immigration cases. Laura received her B.A. from the College of William and Mary and her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
