Your donation will help ensure that one of the more than 8,000 children who come to the United States and have to face the immigration court system alone will have a lawyer to help him or her through the complex proceedings.

Your help could mean the difference between a child who needs protection being sent back to his or her home country where his or her life may be in danger - and the child being able to stay in the United States to live in safety and freedom.

If you are a law firm, corporate law department, attorney or paralegal, you can help in many ways; no immigration experience is necessary. Opportunities range from providing "Know Your Rights" presentations to direct representation of children. KIND will train, mentor and advise.
